1) ΣΗΜΕΙΩΜΑ: REMARKS 1) The word ΕΛΛΑΣ (Greece) must be printed in letters similar to the ones of the same word in the greek Independence Centenary stamps printed by you in 1930. Consequently, the letter E should be printed as E not Є as on this design and the letter S should be printed as Σ and not Σ (με μυτερές γωνίες) as on this design. 2) In the legend at the bottom of the stamp ¨ΕΚΑΤΟΝΤΑΕΤΗΡΙΣ ΠΑΝΕΠΙΣΤΗΜΙΟΥ ΑΘΗΝΩΝ 1837-1937» (Centenary of the Athens University 1837-1937), all letters Ε and Σ should be printed as above, and besides this
alteration in all letters where on the design the two strokes are not equal, they should be made equal. The letters have been sharpen with dots in ink. Generally the lettering on the design is in byzantine style and they want them in ancient greek style. The letters on the bottom of the 25 drachmas stamp of the Independence Centenary issue are the ones wanted. The letters therefore on the design should be changed accordingly. The Legation in London will easily make clean

Χρώμα: Ασπρόμαυρο.
