Ο Δρ. White ήταν πρόεδρος του Κολλεγίου Ανατόλια από το 1913 έως το 1933. Μετά το βεβιασμένο κλείσιμο του σχολείου στη Μερζιφούντα (Μάρτιος 1921) ο κος. Ελεθέριος Βενιζέλος πρότεινε στον Δρ. White (φθινόπωρο 1923) την μεταφορά του σχολείου στη Θεσσαλονίκη καθώς ήταν "το πιο διεθνές" μέρος της Ελλάδας. Το Κολλέγιο Ανατόλια ξανά άνοιξε το 1924 στην περιοχή Χαριλάου
Dr. White was President of Anatolia College from 1913 to 1933. The campus was forced to close in Merzifon in March 1921. In the fall of 1923, Prime Minister of Greece, Mr. Eleuftherios Venizelos offered to Dr. White to relocate the campus in Thessaloniki which was "the most international" place in Greece. Anatolia College reopened in 1924 in the Charilaou area.
