Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Γαλλικός φεουδαρχικός οίκος από το Λιμουζέν (Limousin). Ο εικονιζόμενος θυρεός ανήκει στον Μεγάλο Μάγιστρο του Τάγματος του Οσπιταλίου του Αγίου Ιωάννου της Ιερουσαλήμ, Pierre d' Aubusson. Η παρουσία υποστηριγμάτων που συνοδεύουν το θυρεό (στη συγκεκριμένη περίπτωση ενός γρύπα και ενός λιονταριού), είναι σχετικά σπάνια στη Ρόδο και πολύ σπάνια στον γενικότερο ελληνικό χώρο.

Historical Notice: French feudal house from Limousin. The arms presented here belong to the Grand Master of the Order of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem, Pierre d' Aubusson. The presence of supporters depicted on either side of the shield (in this case, a gryphon and a lion), is rare in Rodos, and quite uncommon in the Greek areas in general.
