Μαύρο επιτραπέζιο μαγνητικό τηλέφωνο. Θήκη και βάση μεταλλική μαύρου χρώματος. Επάνω μπρούτζινη στήριξη ("πιρούνι") για το ακουστικό, το οποίο είναι μπρούτζινο με μαύρη πλαστική χειρολαβή. Αριστερά, χειροκίνητος μοχλός (μανιβέλα) για τη δυνατότητα κλήσεων. Υφασμάτινο μαύρο καλώδιο το συνδέει με τη συσκευή και βυσσινί με τη σύνδεση. Θεωρείται από τις πλέον περίτεχνες συσκευές της εποχής. Καινοτόμο χαρακτηριστικό αποτελεί η ύπαρξη μηχανισμού σίγασης του κουδουνίσματος, η χρήση του οποίου υπήρξε διαδεδομένη στη Δανία εκείνη την εποχή. Στη συνέχεια, ο μηχανισμός τροποποιείται με την πρωτοποριακή δυνατότητα ρύθμισης της έντασης του κουδουνιού, στοιχείο που προσελκύει πλήθος αντιγραφών και απομιμήσεων. (EL)
Magneto desk phone in a black metal casing, seated on black metal base. It is equipped with a bronze handset with a black plastic handle mounted on a bronze cradle ("fork" design); a black woven cord connects it to the device and a burgundy one to the connection. On the left is a hand crank for the making of calls. It is considered one of the most elaborate devices of that time. The device's innovative feature was the mute ringer function, quite widespread in Denmark. Following this, a new innovative modification allowed for the adjustment of the sound volume, resulting to the manufacture of a number of copies and replicas. (EN)
