Τηλεφωνική συσκευή επιτραπέζια μάρκας ΙΤΤ, ελληνικής κατασκευής. Η συσκευή έχει χρώμα ανοιχτό πράσινο και περιλαμβάνει δίσκο κλήσης. Η σειρά "500" εμφανίζεται για πρώτη φορά το 1949 από την αμερικανοκαναδική εταιρεία Bell Systems (Bell Telephone Company). Το 1951, η πολυεθνική εταιρεία ITT αποκτά την άδεια για την διευρυμένη παραγωγή της σειράς και της διαχείρισης του σχεδίου. Έκτοτε σημειώνονται πολυάριθμες συνεργασίες με τοπικές εταιρείες ανά τον κόσμο με την σειρά να υφίσταται τις ανάλογες παραλλαγές και τροποποιήσεις ακόμη και μέχρι τα μέσα της δεκαετίας του 1980. Μόνο για την αγορά της Βόρειας Αμερικής έχουν παραχθεί εκατομμύρια μοντέλα με συνέπεια να πιστεύεται ότι σε κάθε αμερικανικό σπίτι υπάρχει συσκευή από την συγκεκριμένη σειρά. (Βλ. και ΜΤ - 015158)

ITT Greek-made desk phone. The device is light green and contains a rotary dial. The 500 telephone series was introduced in 1949 for the first time by the American-Canadian company Bell Systems (Bell Telephone Company). In 1951, the multinational company ITT acquired the patent license with the purpose of massively producing and managing the design of the series. Until the mid-1980s the numerous partnerships with local companies around the world resulted in a number of variations and alterations of the model. For the North American market alone, millions of models have been manufactured leading, therefore, to the assumption that every American household owned a device from this series.
