"Ο Βαλαωρίτης αποτυχών του σκοπού του ποθεί να επιστρέψη", "Εκλεκτική" 31/10/1874. (EL)
Άρθρο της εφημερίδας \"Εκλεκτική\" 31/10/1874 το οποίο σχολιάζει τους εγκωμιαστικούς χαρακτηρισμούς υπέρ του Σπ. Βαλαωρίτη που γράφτηκαν και αναδημοσιεύτηκαν σε αρκετές εφημερίδες. Υποστηρίζει ότι πρόκειται για κείμενο που διακινεί ψευδείς ειδήσεις υποκινούμενο από ανθρώπους που προσβλέπουν στην επιστροφή του Βαλαωρίτη από το Λονδίνο. Ο συντάκτης θεωρεί ότι όσα δόλια δεν κατάφερε να πραγματοποιήσει στο Λονδίνο πιθανώς θα τα σχεδιάσει και θα τα εφαρμόσει στην Ελλάδα. (EL)
