Αριστερά ο Παύλος και δεξιά ο Πέτρος ολόσωμοι, στραμμένοι προς το κέντρο. Στο μέσο εικόνίζεται η νήσος Πάτμος με το μοναστήρι. Στο μέσο και χαμηλά το σπήλαιο με το περιστέρι και ανοιχτό βιβλίο "Εν Αρχή ην ο Λόγος". Στην κάτω πλευρά κεφαλαιογράμματη επιγραφή: "ΕΝΑΡΞΙΣ ΘΕΟΛΟΓΙΚΟΥ ΔΙΑΛΟΓΟΥ ΕΚΚΛΗΣΙΩΝ ΡΩΜΑΙΟΚΑΘΟΛΙΚΉΣ κ ΟΡΘΟΔΟΞΟΥ, ΠΑΤΜΟΣ 'αϡπ".
