WOMEN’S HEADBAND OF THE TRADITIONAL COSTUME OF DRYMOS (EN)

Κόκκινος κεφαλόδεσμος της γυναικείας παραδοσιακής ενδυμασίας του Δρυμού. Φοριέται διπλωμένος πάνω από το μέτωπο και πάνω από το καφέ μαντήλι.Στις άκρες φέρει κέντημα με πολύχρωμο γεωμετρικό μοτίβο και απολήγει σε μάλλινα κρόσσια. Επάνω στον κεφαλόδεσμο είναι ραμμένες αλυσίδες με ασημένια φλουριά, αλλά και κόσμημα σαν λουλούδι, ομοίως διακοσμημένο με φλουριά. (EL)
Red headband of the women’s traditional costume of Drymos. It is worn folded above the forehead and over the brown scarf. The edges are embroidered with a colourful geometric motif and end in woollen fringes. The headband has chains with silver coins sewn onto it, as well as a flower-like ornament, likewise decorated with coins. (EN)
