Description

Μάλλινο αμάνικο γιλέκο, σε μαύρο χρώμα, παραδοσιακής ανδρικής φορεσιάς από την Ήπειρο. Γύρω από την λαιμόκοψη, στο άνοιγμα του θώρακα και των χεριών και γύρω από τη μέση φέρει κόκκινη τρέσα, εν είδει σιρίτι. Στις μπροστινές γωνίες και στην πίσω πλευρά, έχει προστεθεί κόκκινη τρέσα με ρόδακες και άλλα φυτικά μοτίβα. (EL)

Sleeveless black woollen vest of the men’s traditional costume of Epirus. On the neckline, chest opening, armholes and around the waist, it is embellished with red trim in the form of a braid. Red trim with rosettes and other vegetal motifs has been added to the front corners and on the back. (EN)
