Ποδιά παραδοσιακής γυναικείας φορεσιάς από τους Μεταξάδες της Θράκης. Στο κάτω μέρος του βυσσινί υφάσματος έχουν προσραφθεί υφασμάτινες λωρίδες σε πράσινο και κόκκινο χρώμα, καθώς και κίτρινη δαντέλα. Πέντε κεντημένες οριζόντιες ρίγες στο ίδιο χρώμα με την ποδιά συμπληρώνουν τον διάκοσμο. Στις τρεις πλευρές φέρει επίρραπτη λευκή διακοσμητική δαντέλα. Στο πάνω μέρος έχει γαζωθεί κορδέλα από το ίδιο ύφασμα με την ποδιά, από την οποία ξεπροβάλλουν δύο κορδόνια σε κίτρινο, μπλε και πράσινο χρώμα, για να δένεται γύρω από τη μέση.

Apron of the women’s traditional costume of Metaxades, Thrace. Green and red fabric strips, as well as yellow lace, have been sewn at the bottom of the crimson fabric. Five embroidered horizontal stripes of the same colour as the apron complete the decoration. On three sides, the apron is embellished with appliqued white decorative lace. A ribbon made of the same fabric as the apron has been stitched at the top, with two laces in yellow, blue and red emerging from it, so it can be tied around the waist.
