Μπλε βαμβακερός επενδύτης (σαγιάς) παραδοσιακής γυναικείας φορεσιάς από την Αλεξάνδρεια (Ρουμλούκι) Ημαθίας. Το κάτω μέρος είναι από διαφορετικο ύφασμα, σε πιο σκούρο χρώμα. Ο γιακάς και το άνοιγμα του θώρακα φέρουν μαύρο σιρίτι. Οι άκρες των μανικιών φέρουν πλούσιο χρυσό κέντημα. Τα δύο μπροστινά φύλλα, οι ποδιές, αναδιπλώνονται και στερεώνονται στο πίσω μέρος, στο ύψος της μέσης. Στις ποδιές έχει προστεθεί κομμάτι κόκκινου βελούδου, το οποίο φέρει επίρραπτο κεντημμένο τρίγωνο από χρυσό και ασημί νήμα. Στις βάσεις των τριγώνων έχουν προστεθεί επίρραπτα ημικυκλικά κεντήματα, τα δάχτλα, σε χρυσό χρώμα. Αυτός ο τύπος σαγιά φοριόταν από τις παντρεμένες γυναίκες όσο ήταν ακόμα νέες.

Blue cotton overcoat (sayias) of the women’s traditional costume of Alexandreia (Roumlouki), Imathia. The bottom is made of a different fabric of a darker colour. The collar and chest opening are trimmed with black piping. The edges of the sleeves are richly embroidered with gold. The two front panels are folded back and secured on the back of the waist. A piece of red velvet has been added to them, which is embellished with an appliqued triangle embroidered with gold and silver thread. Appliqued gold semi-circles called dachtla have been embroidered in the bases of the triangles. This type of sayias was worn by married women while they were still young.
