Πορτρέτο του Μακεδονομάχου Ιωάννη Τσάμη. Η μορφή του απεικονίζεται ρεαλιστική, σε ώριμη ηλικία. Φορά κουστούμι και γραβάτα. Τα ελαιοχρώματα χρησιμοποιήθηκαν σε σκοτεινές αποχρώσεις, γεγονός που παραπέμπει στη σχέση του καλλιτέχνη με τη βυζαντινή αγιογραφία. Στην κάτω αριστερή γωνία του πίνακα υπάρχει και η υπογραφή του καλλιτέχνη: Πολύκλειτος Ν. Ρέγκος 1940. Το πλαίσιο είναι από ξύλο με επίχρισμα γύψου και βαμμένο καφέ.

Portrait of Macedonian Fighter Ioannis Tsamis. His figure is depicted realistically, at a mature age. He is wearing a suit and necktie. The oil paints were used in dark shades, which alludes to the artist’s relationship with Byzantine iconography. The bottom left corner of the painting bears the signature of the artist: Polykleitos N. Rengos, 1940. The frame is made of wood with plaster coating and painted brown.
