Description

Κεφαλόδεσμος έγγαμης – κατσιούλια – με κορδέλλα και τα ανάλογα κοσμήματα. Αποτελεί μέρος φορεσιάς του Γιδά. Υπάρχει στο κέντρο μικρό εξάρτημα, που αυξάνει το ύψος του κεφαλιού, και στερεώνεται με το υποσαγώνιο ή «καπουτσάλι» που είναι βελούδινη κορδέλα. Μαζί με το κατσιούλι παρεδόθησαν προσαρμοσμένα σε αυτό και τα παραδοσιακά κοσμήματα από αλυσίδες, καρφίτσες, φόλλες κ.λ.π. Είναι το λεγόμενο «μαγκλικουτάρι». (EL)

Headband of married woman - katsioulia - with ribbon and the corresponding jewellery. It is part of the Gidas costume. There is a small accessory in the middle, which increases the height of the head, and is fixed under the chin with the “kapoutsali” which is a velvet ribbon. Along with the katsiouli, the traditional jewellery of chains, pins, beads etc where also delivered attached to it. This is the so-called “manglikoutari”. (EN)
