Πρόκειται για την αυθεντική πύλη εισόδου του παλαιού υφαντουργείου/ταπητουργείου, εκεί όπου, στις 17 Αυγούστου 1944, έγιναν οι εκτελέσεις των αγωνιστών της Εθνικής Αντίστασης, μετά την υπόδειξη των προδοτών στην πλατεία Οσίας Ξένης. Η επονομαζόμενη Πορτάρα είναι μια ευμεγέθης ξύλινη πόρτα δύο φύλλων, με μάνταλα και παραπόρτι, η οποία εκτίθεται στον στεγασμένο χώρο της Μάντρας Μπλόκου Κοκκινιάς. Πιστό αντίγραφό της τοποθετήθηκε στη θέση της αυθεντικής πόρτας, στον υπαίθριο χώρο της Μάντρας Μπλόκου Κοκκινιάς.Τη συντήρηση της Πορτάρας, καθώς και την κατασκευή αντιγράφου, ανέλαβε το αρμόδιο τμήμα του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού. -

It is the authentic entrance gate of the old textile / carpet factory, where, on August 17, 1944, the executions of the fighters of the National Resistance took place, after the detection of traitors in the square of Osias Xeni. The so-called Portara is a large wooden door of two leaves, with mandala and paraporti, which is exhibited in the covered area of the Kokkinia Block Mantra. A faithful copy of it was placed in the place of the original door, in the outdoor area of the Kokkinia Block Mantra.The maintenance of Portara, as well as the manufacture of a copy, was undertaken by the competent department of the Ministry of Culture. -
