ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΗ ΕΓΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΗ- Ελαιοτριβείο προσανατολισμένο προς το ηφαίστειο , στο φρύδι του γκρεμού, στις παρυφές του οικισμού. Ήταν εγκατεστημένο σε σκοτεινό ισόγειο πετρόκτιστο κτίσμα, το οποίο επικοινωνούσε με εσωτερική πόρτα με το σπίτι του «Λιοτρίδη».Είχε πέτρινη μυλόπετρα ,μεταλλική πρέσα(το μοναδικό πειστήριο που σώζεται μέχρι σήμερα)και ήταν χειροκίνητο. Την εποχή της παραγωγής ,άνδρες ,γυναίκες ,παιδιά με βάρδιες γυρνούσαν την μυλόπετρα. Σε τσιμιά που βρισκόταν μέσα στο ελαιοτριβείο βράζανε σε καζάνια νερό για την επεξεργασία της ελιάς. Τον καρπό τον έφερναν Νικειάτες από τα ελαιόδεντρα των χωραφιών τους που βρίσκονταν κοντά στον οικισμό. Κουβαλούσαν τις ελιές μέσα σε σακιά «αγοραστά» στον ώμο η πάνω σε γαϊδούρια. Ο «Λιοτρίδης» πληρωνόταν σε είδος –λάδι-το οποίο στη συνέχεια μεταπουλούσε. Στις αρχές της δεκαετίας του ’60 η λειτουργία του ελαιοτριβείου σταματά και το κτίριο από την εγκατάλειψη καταρρέει.

INDUSTRIAL FACILITY- Oil press oriented towards the volcano, on the brow of the cliff, on the outskirts of the settlement. It was installed in a dark ground-floor stone building, which communicated with the house of "Liotridis" through an internal door. It had a stone millstone, a metal press (the only press that has survived to this day) and was manual. At the time of production, men, women and children turned the millstone in shifts. Water was boiled in cauldrons in the cisterns inside the oil press to process the olives. The fruit was brought by the Nicaeans from the olive trees of their fields that were located near the settlement. They carried the olives in "purchased" sacks on their shoulders or on donkeys. "Liotridis" was paid in kind - oil - which he then resold. At the beginning of the 60s, the operation of the oil press stopped and the building collapsed due to abandonment.
