ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΗ ΕΓΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΗ- Διώροφο λιθόκτιστο κτίριο με επικάλυψη δίρριχτη ξύλινη κεραμοσκεπή. Στο ισόγειο, στο μπροστινό τμήμα πάνω στο δρόμο ήταν εγκατεστημένο το εργαστήριο του Πέτρου Καγκά, ενώ στο πίσω τμήμα ήταν διαμορφωμένη στέρνα που συνέλεγε βρόχινο νερό, από τα κεραμίδια της στέγης ,και εξυπηρετούσε τις ανάγκες του εργαστηρίου και της κατοικίας του Α’ορόφου. Στο χώρο του εργαστηρίου φυλάσσονταν τα εργαλεία, τα αχνάρια και εκτελούνταν μικρο-δουλειές. Βασικό πεδίο δράσης ήταν ο Ταρσανάς του Χαρανιού, όπου και σκάρωνε τρεχαντήρες καραβόσκαρα, βαρκαλλάδες. Εάν το απαιτούσαν οι ανάγκες δούλευε και στον Ταρσανά του Κάμπου. Εθεωρείτο στην εποχή του ο πιο καλός τεχνίτης, ήταν εγγράμματος και δούλευε με σάλα .Στην πρόσοψη του εργαστηρίου του είχε μια χαρακτηριστική επιγραφή που έγραφε:»ΑΠΑΓΟΡΕΥΕΤΕΑΙ ΝΑ ΠΕΡΑΣΕΤΕ». Δεχόταν παραγγελίες από Σύμη κυρίως αλλά και από την Ρόδο. Έπαψε να δουλεύει το 1944.

INDUSTRIAL FACILITY- Two-storey stone-built building covered with a two-striped wooden tile roof. On the ground floor, in the front part facing the street, the workshop of Petros Kagas was installed, while in the back part there was a shaped cistern that collected rainwater from the roof tiles, and served the needs of the workshop and the residence of the first floor. In the workshop area, tools and small jobs were delivered. The main field of action was Tarsanas of Charani, where the trechanters of ships, were manufactured. If the needs required it, he also worked in Tarsanas of Kampos. He was considered the best craftsman in his time, he was literate and worked with parlor. On the facade of his workshop he had a characteristic sign that read: "NO TREASURES". He received orders mainly from Symi but also from Rhodes. It stopped working in 1944.
