Στα μέσα της δεκαετίας του 1990 εντοπίστηκε από ντόπιο βοσκό μυκηναϊκός θολωτός τάφος στη θέση "Αηλιάς" (θολωτός 1). Η σωστική ανασκαφική έρευνα που διενεργήθηκε, από την Αρχαιολογική Υπηρεσία, αποκάλυψε άλλους δύο θολωτούς τάφους τον 2 στην ίδια θέση και τον 3 στη θέση «Κροϊκάνου».

In the mid- 1990s a shepherd located a Mycenean tholos tomb on the site "Ailias" (tholos tomb 1). The salvage excavation undertaken by the Archaeological Service revealed two more tholos tombs
number 2 on the same site and number 3 at a nearby site called "Kroikanou". Tholos tomb 1 was relatively small and dated to the LH period (1680-1060 B.C.). It had been looted in antiquity however it was rich in pottery stone arrow-heads and a deer's horn.
