Φωτογραφία αρχείου από τις ανασκαφές στο οικόπεδο Βέβε στα Νιχώρια. Διακρίνεται πιθοταφή, η οποία περιέχει νεκρό σε συνεσταλμένη στάση. Εκατέρωθεν φέρει κτερίσματα, από τα οποία διακρίνεται πινάκιο με λαβές και κάνθαρος. Η ταφή περιείεχε επιπλέον χάλκινο ξίφος, γεγονός που έχει κάνει τους αρχαιολόγους να χαρακτηρίσουν το νεκρό ως "πολεμιστή".

Archive photograph from the excavations at the plot Veves, in Nichoria. It depicts a burial in pithos, which contains a body in contracted position. The skeleton is surrounded by grave goods of which we discern a kantharos and a plate with handles. The burial contained also a copper sword, which made the archaeologists give the deceased the attribute of a warrior.
