Το μνημείο του κόμη Σανταρόζα στη Σφακτηρία. Ο Σαντόρε ντι Σανταρόζα, φιλέλληνας στρατιωτικός, πρώην στρατηγός του Μεγάλου Ναπολέοντα, βρέθηκε το 1824 να πολεμά στο πλευρό των Ελλήνων. Το 1825 ήταν επικεφαλής του στρατιωτικού σώματος που ανακατέλαβε το Νιόκαστρο, η έλευση όμως του Ιμπραήμ σήμανε την αποτυχία της εκστρατείας και το θάνατο του ίδιου του Σανταρόζα.

The monument of count Santarosa in Sphakteria. Santore di Santaroza, a philhellene military officer, former general of Napoleon, fought on the side of the Greeks in 1824. In 1825 he was head of the military corpse which captured Niokastro, however the advent of Ibrahim marked the disaster of this campaign and the death of Santarosa.
