Φωτογραφία αρχείου από τις ανασκαφές στο οικόπεδο Βέβε στα Νιχώρια. Διακρίνεται πιθοταφή, η οποία περιέχει νεκρό σε συνεσταλμένη στάση. Εκατέρωθεν φέρει κτερίσματα, από τα οποία διακρίνεται πινάκιο με λαβές και κάνθαρος. Η ταφή περιείεχε επιπλέον χάλκινο ξίφος, γεγονός που έχει κάνει τους αρχαιολόγους να χαρακτηρίσουν το νεκρό ως "πολεμιστή". (EL)
Archive photograph from the excavations at the plot Veves, in Nichoria. It depicts a burial in pithos, which contains a body in contracted position. The skeleton is surrounded by grave goods of which we discern a kantharos and a plate with handles. The burial contained also a copper sword, which made the archaeologists give the deceased the attribute of a warrior. (EN)
