Η κρήνη της Πίσω Ρούγας βρίσκεται στο νοτιοανατολικό τμήμα του Κάστρου της Αρκαδιάς (Κυπαρισσίας). Περιλαμβάνει τετράπλευρη θολωτή δεξαμενή πλάτους 3 μέτρων και ύψους 2,35 μέτρων.Είναι κατασκευασμένη από πωρόλιθο με ασβεστοκονίαμα και άμμο ποταμού ως συνδετικό υλικό. Στην πρόσοψή της σχηματίζεται εσοχή που απολήγει σε οξυκόρυφο τόξο. Μπροστά της υπάρχει λίθινη γούρνα. Με βάση τα τυπολογικά της στοιχεία έχει χρονολογηθεί στον 16ο αιώνα, αποτελεί δηλαδή μια από τις παλαιότερες κρήνες της Άνω Πόλης. (EL)
The fountain of Piso Rouga is situated at the southeastern part of the Castle of Arkadia (Kyparissia). It comprises a water tank 3 meters wide and 2.35 meters tall and is made of poros stone with limestone and river sand as binding material. Its facade bears a niche which ends in a pointed arch. In front of it there is a stone basin. According to its typology it has been dated in the 16th century, and thus it constituted one of the oldest fountains of Ano Poli (the Upper City). (EN)
