Description

Dr. White was president of Anatolia College from 1913 to 1933. The campus was forced to close in Merzifon in March 1921. In 1923 Prime Minister of Greece, Mr. Eleftherios Venizelos offered to Dr. White to relocate the campus in Thessaloniki which was considered the "the most international" place in Greece. Anatolia College reopened in 1924 in the Charilaou area.

Ο Δρ. White ήταν πρόεδρος του Κολλεγίου Ανατόλια από το 1913 έως το 1933. Το ίδρυμα υποχρεώθηκε να σταματήσει τη λειτουργία του στη Μερζιφούντα το Μάρτιος του 1921. Το 1923 ο πρωθυπουργός της Ελλάδας, Ελεθέριος Βενιζέλος πρότεινε στον Δρ. White την μεταφορά του σχολείου στη Θεσσαλονίκη καθώς θεωρούνταν "το πιο διεθνές" μέρος της Ελλάδας. Το Κολλέγιο Ανατόλια επαναλειτούργησε το 1924 στην περιοχή Χαριλάου.
