      "@value" : "Στον κατακόρυφο άξονα της πολυπρόσωπης σύνθεσης, ο Χριστός στέκεται ελαφρά στραμμένος προς τα δεξιά, κρατώντας την ψυχή της Παναγίας, που απεικονίζεται ως βρέφος. Η Θεοτόκος κείται στην ψηλή νεκρική κλίνη με την κόκκινη στρώμνη. Τέσσερις άγγελοι σε μονοχρωμία περιβάλλουν το Χριστό, ενώ πάνω από την κεφαλή του πετάει ένα Σεραφείμ. Γύρω από την Παναγία, σε δύο ομίλους, απεικονίζονται οι Απόστολοι και δύο ιεράρχες που κρατούν κώδικες. Μπροστά, ο τιμωρός άγγελος κόβει τα χέρια του Ιεφωνία. Στο βάθος, αριστερά και δεξιά, υψώνονται δύο συμμετρικά κτήρια. Επάνω στο χρυσό βάθος, απεικονίζεται η Μετάσταση της Παναγίας, με δύο αγγέλους να πετούν σε νεφέλες. Η εκτεταμένη φθορά της εικόνας στην περιοχή αυτή έχει πιθανόν καταστρέψει την παράδοση της αγίας Ζώνης από τη Θεοτόκο στον απόστολο Θώμα. Το εικονογραφικό σχήμα της εικόνας διαμορφώθηκε στην κρητική ζωγραφική από το 15ο αι. Η εικόνα είναι πιθανώς παραγωγή ζακυνθινού εργαστηρίου."
