Τα έργα του Stefan Martin της συλλογής του MOMus-Μουσείο Σύγχρονης Τέχνης, όλα ξυλογραφίες, μαρτυρούν τη δεινή ικανότητα του καλλιτέχνη στον τομέα της χαρακτικής και ειδικότερα της ξυλογραφίας. Μέσα από το έργο του αναβιώνει την κυρίαρχη τεχνική, η οποία χρησιμοποιούνταν στην εικονογράφηση βιβλίων και εκδόσεων από τον 18 αιώνα έως τις αρχές του 20ού αιώνα. Τα έργα του αντανακλούν την ευαίσθητη και ποιητική φύση του. Απεικονίζονται μεμονωμένες ή ομαδοποιημένες μορφές, οι οποίες πλάθονται και αναδιαμορφώνονται μέσα στη σκιά των αόριστων σκιών στο έργο του ή πραγματεύονται πτυχές της φύσης, οι οποίες αναδύονται μέσα από μια τελειότητα των γραμμών που χαράσσει στο ξύλο.

Stefan Martin's works from the MOMus Museum of Contemporary Art collection, all woodcuts, testify to the artist's exceptional skill in the field of printmaking and woodcut in particular. Through his work he revives the dominant technique used in the illustration of books and publications from the 18th century to the early 20th century. His works reflect his sensitive and poetic nature. They depict individual or grouped figures, which are moulded and reshaped in the shadow of the vague shadows in his work, or deal with aspects of nature, which emerge through a perfection of lines etched into the wood.
