Στη σύνθεση του Xavier Noiret-Thome, έργο μεικτής τεχνικής, το ίδιο το έργο δίνει στον εαυτό του τον τίτλο του: ELLIPSE. Πρόκειται για την ελληνική λέξη Έλλειψη, που σημαίνει μια γεωμετρική μορφή, μια νοητική παραμόρφωση της γεωμετρίας. Στη μονοχρωματική ασημένια επιφάνεια που αντανακλάται μέσα από τη διάθλαση και τη γυαλάδα, το φως διασπά τις γραμμές και με τρόπο σχεδόν αυτονόητο το παραλληλόγραμμο σχήμα του κλασικού πίνακα προσλαμβάνεται πιθανόν με τη μορφή μιας έλλειψης, καταργώντας και νοητικά και οπτικά τη γραμμικότητα του τελάρου που κρατά με εμμονή την αρχιτεκτονική δομή αλλά όχι την οπτική.
Ο καλλιτέχνης συμμετείχε στην έκθεση «Ποιος είναι εδώ;» που πραγματοποιήθηκε το 2007 στο Μακεδονικό Μουσείο Σύγχρονης Τέχνης της Θεσσαλονίκης. Στο πλαίσιο της έκθεσης διοργανώθηκε καλλιτεχνικό διεπιστημονικό και διαδραστικό εργαστήρι στους χώρους του Γεντί Κουλέ με θέμα τον εγκλεισμό και τον χαμένο χρόνο και το έργο δημιουργήθηκε επί τόπου και δωρίθηκε μετά το πέρας της έκθεσης στο Μακεδονικό Μουσείο.

In Xavier Noiret-Thome's composition, a work of mixed media, the work itself gives itself the title ELLIPSE, which is the Greek word Ellipse, meaning a geometric form, a mental distortion of geometry. In the monochromatic silver surface reflected through refraction and gloss, light breaks down the lines and in an almost self-evident way the parallelogram shape of the classical painting is presumably taken up in the form of an ellipse, abolishing both mentally and visually the linearity of the block that obsessively holds the architectural structure but not the visual.
The artist participated in the exhibition "Who is here?" held in 2007 at the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art in Thessaloniki. As part of the exhibition, an artistic interdisciplinary and interactive workshop was organized in the premises of the Yedi Koule on the theme of confinement and lost time, and the work was created on site and donated to the Macedonian Museum after the exhibition.
