Οι φωτογραφίες του Κωνσταντίνου Ιγνατιάδη της συλλογής του MOMus-Μουσείου Σύγχρονης Τέχνης, αφορούν σε μια σειρά ασπρόμαυρων πορτραίτων ανθρώπων κυρίως της τέχνης και των γραμμάτων, όπως αυτά του Γιώργου Ζογγολόπουλου, της Marinas Abramovich, της Kiki Smith, του Francesco Clemente κ.ά. Τα πορτρέτα αποτελούν το μεγαλύτερο μέρος της δουλειάς του, καθώς θεωρεί πως αυτά αποτελούν ένα από τα βασικά θέματα όλων των τεχνών. Ιδιαίτερη σημασία κατέχει το φως στα έργα του, καθώς όπως ο ίδιος μαρτυρά, «Οι σκιαγραφίες μου είναι όπως το σχέδιο για τους ζωγράφους. Άλλες φορές τα σώματα είναι μαύρα γιατί το φως δεν έπεσε επάνω τους και άλλες φορές επειδή έπεσε επάνω τους και τα πρόβαλε σε μια επιφάνεια. Αυτή η επιφάνεια είναι το φόντο».

The photographs by Konstantinos Ignatiadis from the collection of the MOMus-Museum of Contemporary Art, are a series of black and white portraits of people mainly from the world of art and letters, such as those of George Zongolopoulos, Marinas Abramovich, Kiki Smith, Francesco Clemente, etc. Portraits constitute the bulk of his work, as he considers them to be one of the fundamental themes of all the arts. Light is of particular importance in his works, as he testifies, "My sketches are like drawing for painters. Sometimes the bodies are black because the light did not fall on them and sometimes because it fell on them and projected them onto a surface. That surface is the background."
