Η Μαρίνα Μαραβελάκη πειραματίζεται με διάφορες τεχνικές και υλικά, ξυλογραφίες, λιθογραφίες και πλεξιγκλάς και δημιουργεί κατασκευές που διακρίνονται στο σύνολό τους για την έμφαση στα κάθετα στοιχειά και στα έντονα γεωμετρικά θέματα. Το αυστηρό γεωμετρικό λεξιλόγιο, η ελεύθερη απόδοση της μορφής και η αγάπη για τα οξυκόρυφα θέματα που τονίζουν τα μνημειακά χαρακτηριστικά και τη διαχρονικότητα των οικοδομημάτων ολοκληρώνουν την εκφραστική δύναμη των έργων και σχολιάζουν τόσο το παρελθόν όσο και το μέλλον.

Marina Maravelaki experiments with various techniques and materials, woodcuts, lithographs and Plexiglas and creates constructions that are distinguished as a whole for their emphasis on vertical elements and intense geometric themes. The rigorous geometric vocabulary, free rendering of form and a love of sharp-edged themes that emphasize the monumental characteristics and timelessness of the structures complete the expressive power of the works and comment on both the past and the future.
