Στο θραύσμα εικονίζεται πολύ κοντά στον ηνίοχο (54) ο αποβάτης (55), ο οποίος φοράει χιτώνα ζωσμένο στη μέση και έχει την ασπίδα κρεμασμένη με ιμάντα (λουρί) στη ράχη. Πιάνεται από το κάγκελο του δίφρου και είναι έτοιμος να πηδήξει από το άρμα. Σύμφωνα με την απεικόνιση του J. Carrey είναι στραμμένος προς τον θεατή και με το αριστερό του πόδι έχει σχεδόν αγγίξει το έδαφος.

Close to the charioteer (54), the fragment preserves the apobates (55), who wears a chiton belted at the middle and whose shield is suspended on a strap at his back. He grasps the hand-rail of the mounting board and prepares to leap from the chariot. Carrey’s drawing shows that he faces the viewer and that his left foot is almost on the ground.
