Δύο ιππείς ιππεύουν σε άλογα που καλπάζουν έντονα, ο ένας δίπλα στον άλλο, με τον (19) λίγο πιο πίσω να καλύπτει εν μέρει το άλογο του (18). Το δεξί άλογο ιδίως κυριολεκτικά πετάει, με τα τέσσερα πόδια του στον αέρα. Ο αναβάτης του (19) με κοντό χιτώνα, ανεμίζουσα χλαμύδα, εμβάδες και αλωπεκή, κρατάει γερά με το αριστερό του χέρι τα χαλινάρια, ενώ με το δεξί του χαϊδεύει στο κεφάλι το άλογό του σε μια χειρονομία επαίνου και ενθάρρυνσης. Ο ιππέας (18) πιο συγκρατημένος σκύβει λίγο το όμορφο κεφάλι του με τα σγουρά μαλλιά, ενώ κρατάει με τα δυο του χέρια τα ηνία. Φοράει κοντό χιτώνα και πλαστικό θώρακα, που αποδίδει δηλαδή την ανατομική διάπλαση του άνω μέρους του κορμού.

Two horsemen ride horses at full gallop, one next to the other with (19) slightly behind and partly concealing the horse of (18). The right hand horse in particular is literally flying, with all four hooves in the air. His rider (19), with short chiton and chlamys floating out behind him, boots and fox-skin cap, holds tight the reins with his left hand, and with his right he pats the horse’s head in a gesture of approval and encouragement. Horseman (18), more restrained, holds the reins in both hands, bending his splendid head with curly hair. He is clad in short chiton and anatomical thorax (cuirass), that is, a cuirass that shows the anatomical divisions of the upper part of the body.
