The Collection of the Athens School of Fine Arts Gallery comprises over 9,000 artworks spanning from the 19th century to the present day, reflecting the evolution of artistic education and production in Greece. The collection largely consists of works by faculty members of the School, illustrating diverse artistic movements, practices, and aesthetic approaches that have shaped modern Greek art. 

The collection is characterized by the predominance of painting, alongside significant holdings in photography, printmaking, and drawing. It also includes sculpture, constructions, and less represented media such as frescoes, collages, and mosaics, demonstrating the expansion of artistic media and practices over time. 

The collection features works by prominent figures of Greek art, including Georgios Iakovidis, Yannis Moralis, and Alekos Fassianos, among others, highlighting the continuity and transformation of artistic production from academic traditions to contemporary explorations. As a whole, it constitutes a significant resource for the study of art history and art education in Greece.
