The B. & M. Theocharakis Foundation for the Fine Arts and Music houses a representative collection of works by painter Spyros Papaloukas.

This is the largest collection of the great painter's work and includes significant paintings and drawings from all the major stages of his evolutionary journey—from his early student years in Athens and Paris to his portraits, self-portraits, still lifes, and landscapes depicting Aegina, Salamis, Paros, Antiparos, Mytilene, Hydra, and Mount Athos. More than 600 works—including oil paintings, watercolors, charcoal drawings, India ink, and pencil sketches, as well as maquettes—bear witness to Papaloukas's artistic trajectory and the influence he exerted on subsequent generations.

Year range: 1915 - 1955
