The Communications and Educational Foundation of the Holy Metropolis of Rhodes, as a non-profit Foundation (Government Gazette 1561/2008, item B), operates as an autonomous and independent Legal Entity of Private Law, and constitutes the successor structure of the Foundation "Center of the Ecumenical Patriarchate", according to the letter no. 205/19-6-2008 of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, His Holiness Bartholomew. The purposes of the Foundation, as described in the Regulation of establishment and operation, are the exercise of modern ecclesiastical pastoral care and education, under the prism of the Orthodox Tradition and the tradition of the Nation, with every appropriate means of communication, information and education (radio, television, Internet, educational publications, publication of magazines, publications of multimedia systems, production of electronic discs, photographic production, books, speeches, seminars, etc.). Also the learning of Ecclesiastical Arts and the recording and promotion of the treasures of the Orthodox Tradition by every modern means.
