The Municipality of Nafplio is a local authority in the Region of Peloponnese, established in 2010 under the "Kallikratis" Programme and operational since January 1, 2011. It was formed through the merger of four pre-existing municipalities (Nafplio, Asini, Midea, and Nea Tiryntha). Nafplio was designated as the seat of the expanded municipality.
