Αναδημοσίευση γελοιογραφίας του Γερμανικού σατιρικού περιοδικού \"Kladdradatch\" σε άγνωστη εφημερίδα, που σχολιάζει το Κρητικό ζήτημα, και της προσπάθειες τις Ελλάδα και τις Οθωμανικής Αυτοκρατορίας να κρατήσουν την περιοχή. Για την Ελλάδα, η Κρήτη ήταν κομμάτι της χώρας αλλά η διεθνής συγκυρία δεν επέτρεπε στην Ελλάδα να αναγνωρίσει την ένωση που είχε αυτοανακηρύξει η Κρήτη το 1908. Για την Οθωμανική Αυτοκρατορία η απώλεια της Κρήτης σήμαινε μία ακόμη καταστροφή και εδαφική απώλεια. XX/07/1909 (EL)
