Aspropounta lighthouse, Folegandros island
Φάρος Ασπροπούντα Φολεγάνδρου

Beam 15 miles and focal height 70 meters. Stone-built cylindrical tower 11 meters high, connected to the lighthouse keeper's residence. It is located on the eponymous cape on the west side of the northern part of the island. Regarding the name of the lighthouse, that of Aspropounta is also noted. It was destroyed by the Germans in 1941 and reopened in 1945.
Φωτοβολία 15 μίλια και εστιακό ύψος 70 μέτρα. Πύργος λιθόκτιστος κυλινδρικός ύψους 11 μέτρων συνεχόμενος με την κατοικία των φαροφυλάκων. Βρίσκεται στο ομώνυμο ακρωτήριο στη δυτική πλευρά του βόρειου κορμού του νησιού. Αναφορικά με την ονομασία του φάρου σημειώνεται και αυτή της Ασπροπούντας. Καταστράφηκε από τους Γερμανούς το 1941 και επαναλειτούργησε το 1945.
