Mourtos lighthouse, Syvota
Φάρος Σύβοτα ή Μούρτος

Beam 18 miles and focal height 87 meters. A square stone tower above the lighthouse keeper's residence. It is located 240 meters from the northern tip of the islet of Sivota, on the coast of Epirus. It is also called the Mourtos lighthouse, after the name of a pirate who used the islet of Sivota as a base. It was built by the French Ottoman Lighthouse Company on behalf of the Ottoman Empire. It joined the Greek Lighthouse Network after the victorious Balkan Wars in 1912–1913 and the annexation of Epirus to Greece. In 1941 the lighthouse's light was destroyed and it was restored in 1945. Today the lighthouse is not monitored and operates with an automatic 12-mile beam machine.

Φωτοβολία 18 μίλια και εστιακό ύψος 87 μέτρα. Πύργος λιθόκτιστος τετράγωνος επάνω στην κατοικία των φαροφυλάκων. Βρίσκεται 240 μέτρα μέσα από το βόρειο άκρο της νησίδας Σύβοτα, στην ακτή της Ηπείρου. Ονομάζεται και φάρος Μούρτος, από το όνομα ενός πειρατή που χρησιμοποιούσε τη νησίδα Σύβοτα ως ορμητήριο. Κατασκευάστηκε από τη Γαλλική Εταιρεία Οθωμανικών Φάρων για λογαριασμό της Οθωμανικής Αυτοκρατορίας. Στο Ελληνικό Φαρικό Δίκτυο εντάχθηκε μετά τους νικηφόρους Βαλκανικούς Πολέμους το 1912–1913 και την προσάρτηση της Ηπείρου στην Ελλάδα. Το 1941 το φωτιστικό του φάρου καταστράφηκε και επαναλειτούργησε το 1945. Σήμερα ο φάρος δεν είναι επιτηρούμενος και λειτουργεί με αυτόματο μηχάνημα φωτοβολίας 12 μιλίων.
