Ios lighthouse, Cyclades
Φάρος Ίου

Beam 8 miles and focal height 33 meters. Square stone tower 6.5 meters high. It was built by the French Lighthouse Company on Cape "Fanari" southwest of the port of Ios. The lighthouse has been restored since the end of 2004, at the initiative of the Local Government and the Region of South Aegean.
Φωτοβολία 8 μίλια και εστιακό ύψος 33 μέτρα. Πύργος τετράγωνος πετρόκτιστος ύψους 6,5 μέτρα. Κατασκευάστηκε από τη Γαλλική Εταιρεία Φάρων επί του ακρωτηρίου «Φανάρι» στα νοτιοδυτικά του λιμανιού της Ίου. Ο φάρος έχει αναπαλαιωθεί από τα τέλη του 2004, με πρωτοβουλία της Τοπικής Αυτοδιοίκησης και της Περιφέρειας Νοτίου Αιγαίου.
