WOMEN’S SEQUINED BELT OF THE TRADITIONAL COSTUME OF ALEXANDREIA WITH A BLUE SAYIAS (EN)

Μάλλινο μπλε ζωνάρι παραδοσιακής γυναικείας φορεσιάς με μπλε σαγιά από την Αλεξάνδρεια (Ρουμλούκι) Ημαθίας. Στην εξωτερική πλευρά φέρει τέσσερα ορθογώνια παραλληλόγραμμα από κεντημένες πούλιες, που πλαισιώνονται από ενυφασμένες, λευκές τεθλασμένες γραμμές, τα καγκέλια ή πλουμίδια. Τα ζωνάρια τα ύφαιναν οι γυναίκες στον αργαλειό. (EL)
Blue woollen belt of the women’s traditional costume from Alexandreia (Roumlouki), Imathia, with a blue sayias. The outer side is embellished with four rectangles of embroidered sequins, framed by woven white broken lines. The belts were woven by women on the loom. (EN)
