Description

Αμάνικο μάλλινο γιλέκο παραδοσιακής παιδικής φορεσιάς για αγόρι από το Ασβεστοχώρι Θεσσαλονίκης. Αποτελείται από δύο μπροστινά μπλε και ένα πίσω κόκκινο φύλλο. Γύρω από την κυκλική λαιμόκοψη φέρει τρεις σειρές μαύρο γαϊτάνι, με μαύρο διακοσμητικό κέντημα ανάμεσά τους. Κέντημα με τα ίδια μοτίβα έχει προστεθεί και κάτω από τα γαϊτάνια. Μαύρο γαϊτάνι σε μία σειρά συνεχίζει γύρω από τη μέση και τελειώνει στα πλάγια. Στο πίσω μέρος, το κάτω μισό του κατακόρυφου άξονα είναι ανοιχτό και κλείνει με κορδόνι. Γύρω από το άνοιγμα και στη μέση φέρει λευκό και μαύρο κέντημα. Τον διάκοσμο συμπληρώνουν κεντημένα λευκά φυτικά μοτίβα. Στην αριστερή πλευρά έχει προστεθεί μικρή τσέπη από το ίδιο μπλε ύφασμα με το μπροστινό μέρος, η οποία διακοσμείται με λευκή βελονιά. Το γιλέκο κουμπώνει σταυρωτά μπροστά με τέσσερα κουμπιά. Οι θηλιές μέσα από τις οποίες περνάνε πλαισιώνονται από μαύρο κέντημα. (EL)

Children’s sleeveless woollen vest of the traditional costume of Asvestochori, Thessaloniki, for boys. It consists of two blue front panels and one red back panel. There are three rows of black cord around the round neckline, with black decorative embroidery between them. The same embroidered motifs have also been added below the cords. A row of black cord continues around the waist and ends at the sides. On the back, the lower half of the vertical axis is open and closes with a lace. Around the opening and on the waist, it is embellished with white and black embroidery. The decoration is completed by embroidered white vegetal motifs. A small pocket of the same blue fabric as the front has been added to the left side and is decorated with white stitching. The vest is double-breasted and buttons at the front with four buttons. The button loops are bordered by black embroidery. (EN)
