Γυναικεία ορεινή φορεσιά περιοχή Ρέσνας Μοναστηρίου αποτελούμενη από: α) Βαμβακερή υφαντή πουκαμίσα με κόκκινο μάλλινο κέντημα στα μανίκια, β) Κοντό γιλέκο από καφέ τσόχα και μπλέ κεντήματα, γ) Ποδιά μάλλινη υφαντή ριγωτή, δ) Σεγκούνι από λευκό υφαντό σκουτί με βυσσινί επιστήθιο, φυτίλια και κόκκινη διακόσμηση στην «ποδιά», ε) Καπί αμάνικο από μπλέ υφαντό σκουτί, με εσωτερική ολόσωμη επένδυση γούνας. Στα τελειώματα έχει κόκκινα φυτίλια και στη μέση χρυσοκέντητη διακόσμηση και στ) Ζεύγος μαλλοβαμβακερές ριγωτές κάλτσες λευκές με κόκκινες μύτες και φτέρνες και λινή κόκκινη διακόσμηση. Ο κορμός της πουκαμίσας είναι κατασκευασμένος από λευκό υφαντό κουκουλάρικο ύφασμα, ενώ τα μανίκια της από χονδρό λευκό κάμποτ πανί. Είναι ραμμένη στο χέρι, σε σχήμα «Τ», με ελαφρό κλοσάρισμα στον ποδόγυρο. Φέρει κλειστή λαιμουδιά, από την οποία αρχίζει άνοιγμα στο στήθος. Η λαιμουδιά, το άνοιγμα και ποδόγυρος κοσμούνται από λεπτή μπιμπίλα, καμωμένη με το βελόνι και ολομέταξη κλωστή. Μπρος και πίσω, στο σημείο προσραφής των κομματιών, φέρει ανά δύο ενώματα με διακοσμητικό λεπτό κέντημα από την ίδια μεταξωτή κλωστή. Τα φαρδιά μανίκια, στο τελείωμα τους είναι διακοσμημένα με λεπτό γαϊτανάκι βυσσινί χρώματος, καμωμένο με το βελονάκι και έπειτα ανοίγονται προς τα πάνω τέσσερις περίτεχνα κεντημένες γιρλάντες με μεταξωτή κλωστή, στα χρώματα βυσσινί, μαύρο και κίτρινο. Οι γιρλάντες αυτές έχουν γεωμετρικά σχήματα και οι δύο κάτω περιτρέχουν ολόκληρο το άνοιγμα του μανικιού, ενώ οι επάνω, διακόπτονται στα σημεία που δεν είναι ορατά. Το καβάδιο φέρει στο στήθος καφέ μάλλινη τσόχα και η πλάτη του είναι κατασκευασμένη από μπλέ βαμβακερό ύφασμα με κίτρινη ρίγα. Εσωτερικά είναι επενδεδυμένο με πανί λευκό κάμποτ και στην πλάτη φέρει ενδιαμέσως στρώμα μάλλινης βάτας, που στερεώνεται με βελόνα πατητή. Η λαιμόκοψη είναι βαθειά, για να φαίνεται η πουκαμίσα, διακοσμημένη με μπλέ διπλό σιρίτι, με θηλίτσες και με κορδονένια γιρλάντα μπλέ, που αναπαριστά πλοχμούς και άνθη. Στις μασχάλες και στο πρόσθιο κάτω τελείωμα έχει διακοσμητικό κορδόνι. Στις πλευρές προς τη μέση φέρει μικρά ανοίγματα. Το καβάδιο κλείνει μπροστά με τρία μικρά μπλέ κουμπάκια, εκ των οποίων σώζεται η θηλίτσα μόνον του ενός. Η ποδιά είναι υφαντή, μάλλινη και απλή. Αποτελείται από δύο οριζόντια υφαντά φυλλά, ραμμένα στο χέρι. Είναι ριγωτή με κυρίαρχα χρώματα το κόκκινο, το βυσσινί, το μαύρο, το μπλέ, το πράσινο και το καφέ, που επαναλαμβάνονται αδιάκοπα κατά την ίδια σειρά. Δεξιά και αριστερά έχει στρίφωμα στο χέρι. Επάνω και κάτω μένει η ούγια της ύφανσης. Στη μέση φέρει δύο βαμβακερά κορδόνια για να προσδένεται. Το σεγκούνι, κατασκευασμένο από υφαντό λευκό μάλλινο σκουτί, είναι ολόκληρο ραμμένο στο χέρι. Στο στήθος και στην πλάτη είναι εφαρμοστό και προς τα κάτω κλοσάρει ελαφρώς με την προσθήκη δεξιά και αριστερά λαγκιολιών. Στο τελείωμα του υφαντού σχηματίζεται κόκκινη διακοσμητική ταινία από τσόχα, κέντημα και θυσανωτό τελείωμα από μαύρη και βυσσινί μάλλινη κλωστή. Παρομοίως τα πίσω κεντρικά ενώματα στις ραφές φέρουν κέντημα από μαύρη και κόκκινη κλωστή. Δεξιά υπάρχει σχιστή τσέπη και όλα τα τελειωματά του διατρέχονται από μαύρο και κόκκινο στριφτό κορδόνι. Το στήθος καλύπτεται από μάλλινη βυσσινί τσόχα και βαθιά λαιμόκοψη που αφήνει να φαίνεται η πουκαμίσα και περιβάλλεται από πρόσθετο πλεχτό μαύρο κορδόνι, με θηλίτσες. Η πλάτη είναι επενδεδυμένη από βαμβακερό μπλέ ύφασμα με κίτρινες και κόκκινες ρίγες. Το καπί είναι κατασκευασμένο από σκούρο μπλέ υφαντό - μπαχτό σκουτί και είναι ραμμένο στο χέρι. Το επάνω μέρος - στήθος και πλάτη - είναι εφαρμοστό. Το κάτω κλοσάρει και ανοίγει πολύ, καθώς δεξιά και αριστερά στη μέση και ανάμεσα στα κυρίως τμήματα πλάτης και μπροστινού, προστίθονται λαγκιόλια. Είναι αμάνικο και όλα τα τελειώματα του, καθώς και οι τσέπες, φέρουν πλεκτά σιρίτια από βυσσινί φλος κλωστή. Είναι εσωτερικά ολόκληρο επενδεδυμένο με γούνα, η οποία συνεχίζεται σαν ταινία στα μπροστινά τελειώματα και στον λαιμό. Στο σημείο της μέσης, από τις μασχάλες μέχρι τις κοφτές τσέπες, εκατέρωθεν, φέρει σταυρόσχημη διακόσμηση από χρυσοποίκιλτες σπείρες, βυσσινί φλος σιρίτια και χρυσοκέντητες διατμήσεις. Οι κάλτσες είναι πλεγμένες στο χέρι με πέντε βελόνες και φέρουν λευκές μάλλινες και βαμβακερές ρίγες εναλλάξ. Οι μύτες και οι φτέρνες είναι από κόκκινη μάλλινη κλωστή και φέρουν σχέδιο με πλεκτά άνθη. Στο ύψος της γάμπας υπάρχει λιτή, πλεκτή κόκκινη διακοσμημένη με ελάχιστο πράσινο χρώμα, που αναπαριστά ταινία με σχηματοποιημένα άνθη.

Women’s mountain costume from the area of Resna, Monastir consisting of: a) Cotton woven shirt, with red wool embroidery on the sleeves, b) Short vest of brown felt and blue embroidery, c) Striped woven wool apron, d) Seguni of white woven material with crimson chest, piping and red decoration on the “apron”, e) Sleeveless cape of blue woven material, with an inner full-length fur lining. It is trimmed in red piping and in the middle gold embroidered decoration and f) Pair of white wool-cotton striped socks with red toes and heels and red linen decoration. The body of the shirt is made of white woven fabric, while the sleeves are made of thick white material. It is hand-sewn, in a “T” shape, with an A-line hem. It has a closed neckline, from which an opening on the chest begins. The neckline, the opening and the hem are decorated by hand-stitched embroidery of silk thread. Front and back, at the point of attachment of the pieces, every two joints it has decorative fine embroidery from the same silk thread. The wide sleeves, at the ends are decorated with thin crimson piping, made of needlepoint and then four elaborately embroidered garlands of silk thread, in crimson, black and yellow, open upwards. These garlands have geometric shapes and the two bottom ones surround the entire opening of the sleeve, while the top ones are interrupted at the points that are not visible. The kavadio has brown wool felt at the chest and the back is made of blue cotton fabric with a yellow stripe. Inside it is lined with white material and on the back it has an intermediate layer of wool batting, which it fixed by thread. The neckline is deep to show the shirt, decorated with blue double-stripe, and blue cord garland, representing spirals and flowers. It has a decorative cord at the armpits and on the front bottom hem. It has small openings on the sides towards the waist. The kavadio closes at the front with three small blue buttons, of which only one is preserved. The apron is woven, wool and plain. It consists of two horizontal woven panels, sewn by hand. It is striped with dominant colours of red, crimson, black, blue, green and brown, which are repeated continuously in the same order. Right and left it is hemmed by hand. The top and bottom show the hem of the weave. At the waist it has two cotton cords for tying. The seguni, made of woven white wool material, is entirely hand-stitched. It is fitted at the chest and back and slightly flares at the bottom with the addition right and left of gussets. At the end of the woven fabric is a red decorative band of felt, embroidery and a tufted trim of black and crimson wool thread. Similarly the back centre seams are embroidered with black and red thread. There is a slit pocket on the right and all the trims are finished with black and red twisted cord. The chest is covered by crimson wool felt and a deep neckline that allows the shirt to show through and is surrounded by additional braided black cord, with eyelets. The back is lined with blue cotton fabric with yellow and red stripes. The cape is made of dark blue woven material and is hand stitched. The upper part - chest and back - is fitted. The bottom has a wide flare, as right and left at the waist and between the main back and front sections, gussets have been added. It is sleeveless and trimmed, as well as the pockets, with crimson thread. It is fully lined on the inside with fur, which continues like a band on the front trims and neck. At the point of the waist, from the armpits to the slit pockets, on either side, it has a cross-shaped decoration of gold embroidered spirals, crimson ribbons and gold embroidered darts. The socks are hand knitted with five needles, and have alternating white wool and cotton stripes. The toes and heels are made of red wool thread and have a pattern of knitted flowers. At the height of the calf there is a plain red knit band, decorated with minimal green, representing a band with floral designs.
