Description

Καρέκλα ξύλινη. Ο σκελετός είναι από συμπαγές λουστραρισμένο ξύλο δρυός με πανόδερμα στην πλάτη και την βάση. Το έπιπλο ανήκε στο Ελληνικό Προξενείο Θεσσαλονίκης των χρόνων της Τουρκοκρατίας. Μετά την κατάργηση του Προξενείου διαφυλάχτηκε μαζί με άλλα έπιπλά του από την οικογένεια του Μακεδονομάχου ιατρού Δημήτριου Ζάννα και οι απόγονοί του τα προσέφεραν στο Μουσείο. (EL)

Wooden chair. The frame is solid varnished oak wood lined with leather on the back and the seat. The piece of furniture belonged to the Greek Consulate in Thessaloniki during the Turkish occupation. After the abolition of the Consulate, it was preserved together with other pieces of its furniture by the family of the Macedonian Fighter Doctor Dimitrios Zannas and his descendants offered them to the Museum.
