Ορειχάλκινο μετάλλιο σε κυκλικό σχήμα. Η πρόσθια όψη στο μέσο παριστά όρθια πτερωτή Νίκη του 5ου αιώνα π.Χ. που κρατά και μοιράζει δάφνινα στεφάνια. Η οπίσθια όψη φέρει κυκλοτερή την επιγραφή: «Ο ΜΕΓΑΣ ΥΠΕΡ ΤΟΥ ΠΟΛΙΤΙΣΜΟΥ ΠΟΛΕΜΟΣ 1914-1918», καθώς και τα ονόματα των συμμάχων και συνεταίρων κρατών σε πινακίδα με τίτλο: «ΣΥΜΜΑΧΟΙ ΚΑΙ ΕΤΑΙΡΟΙ» πάνω στην οποία είναι γονατισμένος ο νήπιος Ηρακλής με φείδια στα χέρια. Στην επάνω πλευρά του μεταλλίου υπάρχει περίτχνος κρίκος προσάρτησης της ταινίας. Η ταινία έχει αντικρυστά το χρώμα δύο ουρανίων τόξων των οποίων το ερυθρό συμπίπτει στο κέντρο.Στην ταινία υπάρχει επίσης και η μεγάλη περόνη προσαρτήσεως.

Brass medal in a round shape. The obverse in the middle shows a standing winged Nike of the 5th century BC, holding and distributing laurel wreaths. The reverse bears the circular inscription: “THE GREAT WAR FOR CIVILIZATION 1914-1918”, as well as the names of the allied and partner states on a sign entitled: “ALLIES AND PARTNERS” on which the infant Hercules is kneeling with snakes in his hands. On the top side of the medal there is an ornate ribbon attachment ring. The ribbon has opposing the colours of two rainbows whose red coincides in the centre. Also on the ribbon is the large attachment pin.
