Απόκομμα της εφημερίδας "Το Βήμα" (25/03/1981), δημοσίευσης άρθρου το οποίο αναφέρεται στη "βιβλιοθήκη" του Μέττερνιχ, το περιεχόμενο της οποίας δημοσιεύτηκε στο πλαίσιο δημοπρασίας που ξεκίνησε το 1907. Δίνονται πληροφορίες αναφορικά με το περιεχόμενο της συλλογής του, που περιλάμβανε, μεταξύ άλλων, σπάνιες εκδόσεις, έργα τέχνης, βιβλία με θέμα την ιστορία και πολιτική, καθώς και για τους συγγραφείς που προτιμούσε να μελετά. Σχολιάζεται η απουσία των Ελλήνων κλασικών συγγραφέων.
