ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΗ ΕΓΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΗ- Το εργοστάσιο «ΙΚΑΡΟΣ» ιδρύθηκε το 1928. Αρχιτέκτονας πιθανόν ο Bernabiti. Το εργοστάσιο και το πωλητήριό του στεγαζόταν στην οδό Ιπποτών 1, πάνω στην γωνία της οδού. Το εργοστάσιο και το πωλητήριο μεταφέρθηκαν στο χώρο δεξιά της ελληνιστικής γέφυρας στη Λεωφόρο Ρόδου-Καλλιθέας, όταν πέρασαν στην ιδιοκτησία Κωνσταντίνου Δ. Χατζηκωνσταντή. Το εργοστάσιο διέκοψε τη λειτουργία του το 1987 λόγω θανάτου του ιδιοκτήτη. Το κτίριο έχει κατεδαφιστεί. Ο Α. Βρατσάλης αναφέρει τον αυστριακό Εγκον Χούμπερτ, ζωγράφο και κεραμουργό που έφτασε στη Ρόδο το 1930, ότι ο διοικητής M.Lago του ανέθεσε να οργανώσει την κεραμουργική τέχνη και για το λόγο αυτό έφερε αγγειοπλάστες από τον Αρχάγγελο στο χώρο δίπλα στο Μουσείο. Στη συνέχεια δημιουργήθηκαν τα εργοστάσια Ίκαρος και Κεραμεικός κοντά στο Ροδίνι.

INDUSTRIAL FACTORY- The factory "IKAROS" was founded in 1928. Architect probably Bernabiti. The factory and its shop were located at 1 Hippoton Street, on the corner of the street. The factory and shop were moved to the area to the right of the Hellenistic bridge on Rhodes-Kallithea Avenue, when they passed to the ownership of Konstantinos D. Hadjikonstantis. The factory ceased operation in 1987 due to the death of the owner. The building has been demolished. A. Vratsalis mentions the Austrian Egon Hubert, painter and pottery manufacturer who arrived in Rhodes in 1930, that the commander M. Lago commissioned him to organize the ceramic art and for this reason he brought pottery manufacturers from Archangelos to the area next to the Museum. Subsequently, the Icarus and Kerameikos factories were established near Rodini.
