Description

ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΗ ΕΓΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΗ- Το κτίριο είναι έργο του Ιταλού αρχιτέκτονα Rodolfo Petracco και αποτελείται από κεντρικό διώροφο κτίριο που συνδυάζεται με τις ισόγειες πτέρυγες των αποθηκών. Η όψη είναι αυστηρή και απαλλαγμένη από έντονες προεξοχές και πλαστικά στοιχεία και χαρακτηρίζεται από το μεγάλο μεσαίο άνοιγμα που διαμορφώνει ένα διάδρομο εισόδου και από τη διαμόρφωση των εξωτερικών επιφανειών με τρόπο που του δίνουν ρυθμό και το υποδιαιρούν σε έξι άξονες. Η κατασκευή είναι λιτή και μνημειώδης με επίχρισμα σε απομίμηση φυσική πέτρας. (EL)

INDUSTRIAL FACILITY- The building is the work of the Italian architect Rodolfo Petracco and consists of a central two-story building combined with the ground floor warehouse wings. The appearance is austere and free of strong protrusions and plastic elements and is characterized by the large central opening that forms an entrance corridor and by the shaping of the external surfaces in a way that gives it rhythm and subdivides it into six axes. The construction is simple and monumental with a coating in imitation of natural stone. (EN)
