ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΗ ΕΓΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΗ- Ο ανεμόμυλος έχει ιστορική αξία, καθώς την 7 Mαρτίου 1947 στο διαμορφωμένο δώμα του μύλου (μεταγενέστερη ασύμβατη επέμβαση από οπλισμένο σκυρόδεμα) έγινε η επίσημη ύψωση της ελληνικής σημαίας σε ιστό. H Kάσος, μαζί με τα Δωδεκάνησα, ενσωματώθηκε στην Eλλάδα. Σήμερα, ο μύλος δε διασώζει τον εξοπλισμό του, διατηρεί όμως την λιθόκτιστη κλίμακα ανόδου στο εσωτερικό του και την ξύλινη καρφωτή εξώθυρά του. Ανήκει στον τύπο "ξετροχάρης".

INDUSTRIAL FACILITY- The windmill has historical value, as of March 7, 1947, on the shaped roof of the mill (a later incompatible operation of reinforced concrete), the official raising of the Greek flag took place. Kasos, together with the Dodecanese, was incorporated into Greece. Today, the mill does not preserve its equipment, but it retains the stone-built climbing ladder inside and the wooden studded exterior door. He belongs to the "xetrocharis" type.
