ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΗ ΕΓΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΗ- Πρόκειται για τέσσερις ανεμόμυλους στην ομώνυμη θέση στη Χώρα. Οι τρείς είναι ιδιοκτησία της Ιεράς Μονής του Αγίου Ιωάννη του Θεολόγου ενώ ο τέταρτος, ο νεώτερος, ανήκει σε ιδιώτη. Η παράδοση των μύλων έγινε την 10η Ιουλίου 1588 από τον τότε Ηγούμενο της Μονής Ιωνά προς άφεση αμαρτιών της οικογένειας του. Η κατασκευή τους έγινε για την εξυπηρέτηση του κοινού της Πάτμου καθώς μέχρι τότε υπήρχαν εντός της Μονής αλογόμυλοι για χρήση των μοναχών. Μέχρι την δεκαετία του 1950 ήταν σε λειτουργία ο πρώτος μύλος. Το 1980 νοικιάστηκαν για την δημιουργία παραδοσιακών ξενώνων χωρίς όμως να πραγματοποιηθεί τελικά η μετατροπή τους σε τουριστικά καταλύματα. Στις 10 Ιουλίου 2010 έγιναν τα εγκαίνια για την αποκατάσταση των τριών μύλων με την ιδιωτική πρωτοβουλία και χρηματοδότηση του Ελβετού Charles Pictet.

INDUSTRIAL FACILITY- These are four windmills in the homonymous place in Chora. The three are the property of the Holy Monastery of Saint John the Theologian, while the fourth, the youngest, belongs to a private person. The handover of the mills took place on July 10, 1588 by the then Abbot of the Iona Monastery for the forgiveness of his family's sins. They were built to serve the public of Patmos as until then there were horse mills inside the Monastery for the use of the monks. Until the 1950s, the first mill was in operation. In 1980, they were rented for the creation of traditional guest houses, but without their conversion into tourist accommodation. On July 10, 2010, the inauguration was held for the restoration of the three mills with the private initiative and financing of the Swiss Charles Pictet.
