ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΗ ΕΓΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΗ- Πρόκειται για ένα τσαγκαράδικο εντός του οικισμού της Χώρας. Ανήκε στην οικογένεια Σημαντήρι. Κατά την διάρκεια της Ιταλικής κατοχής ο Αντώνης Σημαντήρης, τελευταίος ιδιοκτήτης, έφτιαχνε παπούτσια για τον ιταλικό στρατό. Τα δέρματα τα έφτιαχνε ο ίδιος. Αργότερα εκτός από επιδιορθώσεις, έφτιαχνε παραδοσιακά παπούτσια, σανδάλια και τσάντες δερμάτινες (βούργιες). Σταμάτησε τη λειτουργία του πριν 8 χρόνια. (EL)
INDUSTRIAL FACILITY- This is a shoe shop within the settlement of Chora. It belonged to the Simantiri family. During the Italian occupation, Antonis Simantiris, the last owner, made shoes for the Italian army. He made the skins himself. Later, in addition to repairs, he made traditional shoes, sandals and leather bags (vurges). It stopped working 8 years ago. (EN)
