ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΗ ΕΓΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΗ- Πρόκειται για μια μικρή βιοτεχνική μονάδα παρασκευής αναψυκτικών (γκαζόζας, πορτοκαλάδας και λεμονάδας) που λειτούργησε στην συνοικία του Πέρα Γιαλού Χώρας Αστυπάλαιας. Ιδιοκτήτης ήταν ο Ιωάννης Κυρρανός ο οποίος αφού εργάστηκε σε αντίστοιχη βιοτεχνία στην Κρήτη για μερικά χρόνια, αγόρασε από εκεί τον κατάλληλο εξοπλισμό και δημιούργησε την δική του επιχείρηση το 1950 στην Αστυπάλαια. Η λειτουργία της σταμάτησε το 1978, δυο χρόνια μετά τον θάνατό του. Στο παρασκευαστήριο δεν εργάζονταν άλλοι υπάλληλοι. Σήμερα σώζεται μικρό τμήμα του αρχικού εξοπλισμού σε αποθήκη, μακριά από το κτήριο του παρασκευαστηρίου τμήμα του οποίου πλέον λειτουργεί ως κομμωτήριο.

INDUSTRIAL FACILITY- This is a small industrial unit for the production of soft drinks (soda, orange juice and lemonade) that operated in the district of Pera Gialos Chora Astypalaias. The owner was Ioannis Kyrranos who, after working in a similar craft industry in Crete for a few years, bought the appropriate equipment from there and created his own business in 1950 in Astypalaia. Its operation stopped in 1978, two years after his death. There were no other employees working in the preparation room. Today, a small part of the original equipment is preserved in a warehouse, far from the building of the manufacturing plant, part of which now functions as a hair salon.
