Ο ανεμόμυλος είναι πετρόχτιστος, έχει κωνική στέγη, κυλινδρικό σχήμα και είναι διόρωφος. Στο πάνω πάτωμα γινόταν η παραγωγή του αλευριού με τη βοήθεια του ανέμου που γύριζε την ανέμη.
Οι ανεμόμυλοι ήταν συνήθως οικογενειακοί και αν κάποιος που έφερνε το σιτάρι του για να αλεστεί δεν είχε χρήματα να πληρώσει, ο μυλωνάς κρατούσε ένα ποσοστό από την παραγωγή.

INDUSTRIAL FACILITY - Owned by the Greek state with number K.M. 82 of buildings in Kos.
The windmill is stone-built, has a conical roof, cylindrical shape and is two-storey. On the upper floor the flour was produced with the help of the wind that turned the spinning wheel.
Windmills were usually family owned and if someone who brought their wheat to be milled had no money to pay, the miller kept a percentage of the production.
